Founder

Sripad is a R&D professional with extensive experience in both industry and academia. He is adept at managing interdisciplinary projects and fostering effective team collaboration. Proficient in designing and executing innovative experiments, performing statistical analysis, and developing scalable processes, he also brings in problem-solving skills, adaptability to emerging technologies, and strong analytical capabilities. He is committed to advancing sustainability and biotechnology research through innovative solutions and strategic vision. Sripad holds a PhD in Plant Biology & Biotechnology from McGill University and a Master's degree in Plant Biology from Pune University. 

Raj Verma, PhD

Advisor and Consultant

Raj brings in over 24 years of expertise in the Food Industry. Holding an MSc and Ph.D. in Dairy Technology, Raj specializes in low fat and sugar-free dairy products. His extensive experience includes leading teams in operations, research & development, new product development, and process improvement. Raj is adept in HACCP, ISO, SQF, and Lean Manufacturing principles. Currently, his work focuses on designing processes, application of new ingredients, and exploring the physico-chemical aspects of plant proteins, guiding projects from initial concept through to commercialization. His expertise includes plant automation and control of microbial contamination in high-paced food manufacturing environments.

Sejal Parmar, PhD

Research Associate

Sejal has 5 plus years of experience in genetics and biotechnology research. She comes in with a vast and in depth knowledge of molecular biology, genetic engineering, bioinformatics, genomics and trait development. Her professional goal is to work at the intersection of public health, nutrition, and food systems to promote sustainable, equitable, and nutritious food access for vulnerable populations.
